Fort Calhoun Area Weather Outlook: December 20-29

Fort Calhoun is settling into a winter weather pattern that will bring temperature swings over the next ten days. Here’s what residents can expect.

Short-Term Forecast: December 20-22 Friday, December 20 Today’s high reaches only 24°F with partly cloudy skies. North-northeast winds around 7 mph will make it feel colder along Highway 75 and the river bluffs. Tonight’s low drops to around 14°F.

Saturday, December 21 Warming begins with sunny skies and a high of 35°F. South-southeast winds 10-15 mph develop. Low temperatures moderate to 25°F overnight.

Sunday, December 22 Major warming pushes temperatures to 50°F. Partly cloudy with breezy south winds 15-25 mph moving through the Missouri River valley. Evening stays relatively mild at 29°F.

Holiday Week Outlook: December 23-25
